Spring Safety Reminder
- Drivers MUST remain in vehicles in all drive-thru lines. If your student is not ready to enter or exit your vehicle with their backpack independent of your assistance, please park on the street and assist your student there.
- Please pull up as far as possible in drive-thru lines.
- Students MUST exit and enter cars on the school side of each lot to keep students out of the passing lane. This is the most common practice that endangers students in our lots, and one that needs to cease immediately.
- Please familiarize yourself with the lot specific mandates below, and join us in our efforts to ensure student safety at Wildwood.
Thank you for your cooperation!
Mr. Lynch
Front Lot Drivers MUST remain in vehicles at ALL TIMES. Students may exit and enter vehicles in this driveway, but drivers MUST remain in vehicles. Parents/guardians who wish to walk to the gate or on campus must park on the street. | Velarde Drive The "NO STOPPING ANYTIME" signs mean just that. The curb here should look EMPTY like this ALL the time. Any vehicles parking here disrupt the views of vehicles leaving our front parking lot and create a serious safety hazard. | Back Lot Drivers MUST remain in vehicles at ALL TIMES. Students may exit and enter vehicles in this driveway, but drivers MUST remain in vehicles. Parents/guardians who wish to walk to the gate or on campus must park in a designated parking spot or on the street. |

We have donations from 45 states. We need donations from 5 more states in order for the kids to get an All School BBQ! Do you know anyone in these states that might donate?
- North Dakota
- Wyoming
- Rhode Island
- Delaware
- West Virginia
Our top earning class for the week was Mrs. Morehead's Orange Orangutans. They definitely enjoyed those ice cream sandwiches at recess.
4 Classes have reached their class goal and will be getting pizza lunches. Congrats to Ley's Blasting Blue Tigers, Henige's Golden Running Tigers, Mrs. Dane's Flaming Hot Cheetos, & Morehead's Orange Orangutans! Mrs. Fontanilla's Blue Flames isn't far behind!
Please join in the fun and help raise donations for Wildwood - it takes a village for the PTA to be able to provide all the things we do to our amazing school. For more info on the jog-a-thon, including the schedule of events (times for when each grade level runs), please click HERE.

Lost & Found Items Leaving Campus Soon
School Attendance and Scheduling Vacation
Start building good attendance habits early on (article) so children learn right away that going to school on time, every day is important. Attending school regularly improves academic performance and helps children feel better about school and themselves.
Absences: If your student will be absent, please call our office to report the absence. Students are marked “truant” when we don’t hear from a parent. https://www.conejousd.org/Page/1764
Tardies: Please try to avoid being tardy. When a student enters the classroom tardy, it disrupts the morning instruction for the entire classroom. School begins promptly at 8:10am and leaving the house just 10 minutes earlier can make all the difference.
Vacation: Please avoid scheduling vacation when school is in session. See our “School Year Calendar” for important dates when scheduling vacation.
