TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK!
Monday: Spa Day
- send a spa item such as lotion, bubble bath, sugar scrub, essential oils, etc.
Tuesday: Office Supplies
- bring in a special office supply such as Scotch tape, Expo markers, colorful flair pens, etc.
Wednesday: Send a Sip!
- bring your teacher their favorite coffee, soda, sparkling water, etc.
Thursday: Morning Treat
- send a small breakfast treat
Friday: What's your teacher's superpower?
- write it on a star cut-out to add we will add it to their door!
May 6th-May 10th: Last week for clubs and tutorials!

If your student is going to be absent please contact the attendance office to report their absence. All absences require either a signed note from their parent and/or doctor's visits require a signed doctor's note, these are due within 3 days of absence. Show your kids that you take interest in their education while sending a positive message that you consider school a worthwhile cause. If you have something to offer or just want to help out in whatever way you can, talk about it with teachers. They might arrange something with you personally or you may speak with Ms. Montenegro, our Engagement and Support Coordinator, who can direct you to an opportunity right for you!
Here are some way you can volunteer:
-act as a classroom helper
-mentor or tutor students
-help organize, cater, or work at fundraising activities
-lunchroom or recess monitor
-help chaperone school events (graduation ceremonies, dances, assemblies, etc.)
-Library assistant or help with story time.
-Help with after school clubs
-volunteer to speak in classrooms for Career Day.

Home Visits
The purpose of this program is to build relationships between the school and the home informing parents of student specific classroom information, as well as various HPS programs and school events that are available. Take the opportunity to get to know your teachers outside of school! If you would like to put in a request for a home visit, please contact your students' teachers or our campus Engagement and Support Coordinator for more information!
