Volume 1, Issue 31
April 4, 2021
Vision: At Brandywine Elementary, we encompass a commitment to excellence in order to ensure that scholars become lifelong learner by creating an inclusive and unified environment for educational creativity, growth and innovation.
Academic Excellence and Achievement Every Scholar, Every Class, Every Day!
Welcome Back to the Building Mighty Bulldogs!
Scholars MUST bring the following items to school daily: Chromebook or iPad, charger and headphones/earbuds in addition to specific materials required by each teacher.
Our daily schedules will change, please see the updated schedules below. NOTE: All scholars are to be logged into class at 7:30 am each day--all scholars will have morning meeting & breakfast together. We want to provide as many opportunities as possible for our scholars to function as one class each day (to be as normal as possible).
Enjoy the last few days of Spring Break! See you all soon.
New Arrival & Dismissal Procedures
Parents, please take a moment to review our new arrival and dismissal procedures below.
FOLLOW ALL DIRECTIONS GIVEN by BES STAFF MEMBERS.
Car Riders & Walkers Arrival & Dismissal: The Mighty Bulldogs Kiss & Ride will now be along Brandywine Road (same side as the school) instead of on the the parking lot--please do not pull onto the parking lot. If the cafeteria door is not open yet, scholars are to line up along the Brandywine Road sidewalk--his/her left foot should be on the blue paw print (painted on the ground). Scholars should keep their mask on, stand still, face forward and wait for the line to start moving; these are the same directions for our scholars who walk to school. Please remind scholars that they are not to play around while in line.
In the afternoon, pull up to the marquee (side cafeteria door) on Brandywine Road, ensure the door is unlocked and ready for scholars to get in.
