Grant Update
Mr. Hall's class has been able to benefit greatly from the grant that was awarded to them this year. So far the students have received extra opportunities for learning in math, spelling, vocabulary, language arts and more. Below are highlights to each of the areas that the grant has impacted.
Screenflow is a screencasting/editting software that allows me to make enhanced screen recordings of my desktop, the web, an ipad, or an iphone. These recordings are typically for either students, their families, or staff. Check out the one (below) I made specifically for you!

Smore is what this flier was created with. Smore is a drag-in-drop online flier creator that I have used with students' families and even with colleagues. I have made classroom specific newsletters, grade level newsletters, posted SnowDay (calamity) Assignments, and even opportunities for our entire district to earn professional development credit. Each of these fliers allows me to see analytics and email reports if I wish. Click on the button below to see the fliers I have created under this account.
Splash Math has been super thus far! This is a web-based site that can also be accessed from the Splash Math App (grades 1-5). Students have specific log-in credentials so that their learning and practice is monitored. There are great pieces of data and reports that can be accessed through the administrative side.

Spelling/Vocabulary City is a great site, that with the use of its premium membership allows for my students to access more activities to practice with. It also gives me the ability to track students as well. I can assign students individually or even in different groups. If a student is logged-in, I can receive feedback on their tests and game-play.
Flocabulary is a site that my students have access to at school and at home. I use it to sometimes integrate technology into my lesson(s), but I also have a general log-in that allows for students to log-in on their own. We typically will use their hip-hop videos to enhance our math or language arts lesson. Check out an example of the video below!
