The AGAPE Times
a newsletter for students and families - 2020/21 Vol 7

A note from our Administrator, Lois Vosika-Weir
AGAPE Students and Families,
Here we are at the start of 3rd quarter, can you believe it? We have been distance learning for almost a full year at AGAPE. We very much miss seeing you in person, but we are grateful you have all been able to stay safe at home with your babies.
Speaking of seeing you in person, Q3 is bringing something else to SPPS; Secondary On-Site Support Centers! Starting on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 22nd, AGAPE will be open for students (Seniors ONLY Mondays and Tuesdays, 9th-11th graders on Wednesdays and Thursdays and everyone distance learning on Fridays) to come in to get help from their teachers in person from 12:30pm-3:00pm. Transportation will be provided by SPPS school buses for students who live in Saint Paul, and lunch will be provided (bag lunch - MICROWAVES/REFRIGERATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR STUDENTS). Masks will be required and there will be no daycare open on-site, so you will need to make sure someone can watch your baby for you, as you can't bring them to the school. We also will not be allowing any visitors, so please keep arranging to meet with your public health nurses or other workers outside of school hours. Information will be coming soon - stay tuned to our All-School Schoology group.
On Fridays, we wear college gear and we have our Virtual All-School Meetings at 9:30am on GoogleMeet. We are having some great guest speakers and activities! Please join us - the GoogleMeet code will always be: agapeadmin
Feel free to contact me any time with questions. Call or text (651) 335-9145 or email at lois.vosika-weir@spps.org.
