Computing components
describing computer parts
What is a CPU?
A Motherboard is a communication hub between other computing parts such as the heat sink ( a fan to cool the CPU down) and the Video card ( it sends information that translates into the images on the screen)

alan turing
alan turing was a british comupter scientists that helped crack the german engima code using a a machine called the bombe
There are arguably 5 generations of computers
First Generation (1940-1956) Vacuum Tubes
Second Generation (1956-1963) Transistors
Third Generation (1964-1971) Integrated Circuits
Fourth Generation (1971-Present) Microprocessors
Fifth Generation (Present and Beyond) Artificial Intelligence

converts infomation that it is sent to desplay on the moniter
RAM (randomly accessed memory)
Random access memory (RAM) is the best known form of computer memory. RAM is considered "random access" because you can access any memory cell directly if you know the row and column that intersect at that cell.
