Delaware
Delaware was founded in 1638 by Peter Minuit. Delawares religion was Quaker. The economy of Delaware was centered around grains and fur trades. Their government was a proprietary government. The average population of colonial Delaware was around 60,000. A significant event about Delaware is that the people traded with The native Americans for fur and thus creating a favorable alliance with the Native Americans.
New Jersey
New Jersey was founded in 1664 by Lord Berkeley. The religion of New Jersey was Anglican. New Jersey's economy was made up of fur, fish building. The established government of New Jersey was Royal. The population was around 140,000. New Jersey was aggressive towards the Native Americans and were not fair in their trades and negotiations. An interesting fact was that New Jersey was the 3rd colony to ratify the constitution of the United States.
