A Estuaries is a body of water were saltwater and freshwater mix to create a unique environment and ecosystem.
Locations
Estuaries are located in many places around the world. Some examples are Chesapeake bay, and San Francisco Bay.
Weather
All Estuaries are different. The Weather depends on the position of the Estuary on earth.
Adaptations
In a Estuary Different plants and animals need to adapt to their environment to survive. Pickle weed is a good example of a plant that adapted to the ever changing conditions of the Estuary. The Pickle weed can use salt water and fresh water.
Variations
There are many variation in a Estuary then from the rest of the world. There are crabs birds fish Plants like pickle weed otters seals stingray lizards turtles small crustaceans and in some places mantes.
If a orca was added to this environment most of the top predatory animals would now become pry for the orca orca causing a decrease in the number of animals that feed on other animals causing the smaller species to overpopulate.
If the salmon was taken away from the environment the Herrin would lose one of its primary sources of food. They would also affect the population of animals that get eaten by the salmon. The number of animals in the population would rise and eventually lead to overpopulation.
