Parents - Make Today Count Sheet
Parents, please take a moment to look at your child's Make Today Count (MTC) Sheet in their agenda to stay up-to-date on classroom behavior. Their MTC Sheet is in their agenda.
Lost and Found
Parents, please make sure your students are checking the lost and found for sweatshirts, coats, water bottles, and anything else that turns up lost. The lost and found is piling up! :) We will be donating anything that is still there at the end of each quarter to a local charity.
For Students who may be Quarantining

Two Bulldogs are Going to State!!!
Seventh grader, Isabelle Byerly qualified in the 500 meter freestyle.
Eighth grader, Turner Wiand qualified in the 100 meter backstroke.
Izzy will be competing Saturday night in Charleston, and Turner will be competing Monday night in Charleston. To qualify for a 5A State High School Tournament as a middle-schooler is a big accomplishment. We are proud of both of you!
Good Luck Bulldogs!
shout out to our band playing alongside the FMHS band!
GHMS Volleyball
The 7th grade girls finished the season as the #4 seed. They have the ability to beat every team in the conference, and I am excited to see them try in the playoffs next week!
The 8th grade girls finished their season UNDEFEATED and as the #1 seed. This is completes two back-to-back undefeated regular seasons, which is quite an accomplishment! However, there is still work to be done! They will defend their championship next week in the playoffs as well.
Good Luck to Both Teams!

Masks on school buses
Based on COVID-19 data being reported by schools, along with increasing levels of the highly transmissible Delta variant in local communities, more protective measures are needed to lower the risk of virus transmission and keep our schools open and operating as safely as possible.
For this reason, the SCDE will again enforce the CDC’s Order requiring the use of face coverings by students and staff on state owned and operated school buses. All districts must be in compliance with this requirement no later than Monday, August 30, 2021.
To facilitate adherence to the CDC Order, the SCDE will equip all state-owned school buses with an adequate supply of face coverings that meet CDC Order requirements. If a student boards a bus without a face covering, bus drivers should offer the student a face covering. However, no student should be denied transportation for failing to adhere to the CDC Order.
early dismissal/transportation and pick up information
GHMS Parents,
Please take a minute and complete the two forms below. The first form provides the school with early dismissal, transportation and student pick-up information. The second form provides the school with information if your child would like to walk/bike to and from school. The data from these forms is captured confidentially for the front office at GHMS only.
