Congratulations to the girls track team for their amazing performances at the NJ Group 4 championships this past weekend, as 6 athletes punched their tickets to the NJ Meet of Champs. Leading the way placing in the 800, 1600, and 4x4 was Olivia Takla, Lia Malave and Ayo jumped their way to MOC's in the triple and long jump, while the 4x4 team of Emma Fortuna, Olivia Nickelson, and Adriana Escaleria placed 6th with a season best time of 4:08. Six female track athletes representing Toms River North at the biggest track meet of the year is an impressive accomplishment. Good Luck Ladies.

This year at Matilda the musical, the New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts Rising Star Awards Program gave out $56,000 in scholarships to members of the Matilda cast. We are so incredibly proud of them!

On Wednesday, March 2, 2022, 6:30 - 8:30 PM, Toms River Schools is happy to welcome back Mr. Eric Ginsberg from Solution Prep in Toms River. Mr. Ginsberg has previously done virtual presentations on financial aid and SAT/ACT prep for the students and parents of Toms River Schools.

On March 2, Mr. Ginsberg will be presenting information on how to help families find the lowest costs of a college, what questions to ask schools when it comes to financial aid, and help students and families make informed decisions about college costs.

The Prom 2022 Fashion Show hosted by Fashion Club and the LGBTQ club is looking for local vendors to buy table space in the lobby for the evening of the show. The show is Thursday March 10th at 6pm. We are looking for prom related businesses such as limo, floral, nails, salons, tanning, etc. The cost per table is $25. Vendors must supply their own tables. In return not only will they get advertising, we will give them a free ad in the program and be listed as a co- sponsor. They can give out business cards, book appointments, hold raffles, etc.

New Jersey Graduation Proficiency Assessment 2022

This March, schools across New Jersey will administer the New Jersey Graduation Proficiency Assessment (NJGPA) in English language arts (ELA) and Mathematics. The assessments for English language arts (ELA) and Mathematics will be administered to students in grade 11 for the purpose of meeting the state graduation assessment requirement. The state-mandated NJGPA will be administered in our district from March 14 through March 17, 2022 with make-up dates from March 21 through March 24, 2022.
