Things are heating up inside and out as we head into finals. Schedules will proceed as normal for the first two weeks of August as most NWHSU students wrap up the summer trimester. We'll reduce our hours slightly for the week of undergrad finals and even more for the break weeks at the end of August/beginning of September.
During the break, we'll also be doing some projects in the library that will involve some activity. Learn more below and how you can avoid distractions.
We will likely be hiring new student library assistants in the fall. Get more information on who we're looking for and how to apply in the Library Jobs section.
Finally, we wanted to remind you that we'll have writing help available, but it's important to email us first to set up an appointment.

Study room signup can be found on the main website or by clicking here.
Unfortunately, we don't have specific dates set for the work yet. We will try to put a notice on the library doors or post it on Facebook when we do.
Come Work In The Library
The student library assistant job is the first point of contact for library users. The student assistants help with computer questions, check books out or connect them with library staff members with more expertise.
This is a coverage position so we look for people who can fill hours designated for a student shift. Therefore, please make sure you include your availability in your application or email it to Krista Jacobson (kjacobson@nwhealth.edu). You can send questions to this email address as well.
Ideal candidates for this position will have a focus on customer service and feel comfortable assisting with basic computer questions.
Work study students may get priority, but we aren't opposed to non-work study students.
The job application is available here.
