Introduction
Sparta was a Greek city-state which valued war. Spartans were very strict when it came to war, their life revolved around it. They started training boys at 7 years old, if their health didn’t meet their requirements they would be left to die. Sparta was ruled by a monarchy of 2 kings, each king having equal power. Unlike Athens, Spartan women had many more rights. Some rights were, owning land, decision on who they marry, and not have to take care of children. Sparta is the best because they have the best education, government, and innovations.
This is when Sparta was at war with Athens, during the Peloponnesian War.
