Community College Application Workshops
Students who are considering community college next year are encouraged to attend one of the workshops below. The workshop will cover the next steps including:
- How to transfer to a 4 year college
- Required forms
- Preparing for the placement assessment
- Guided application completion
Choose from one of the following dates and times:

Wednesday, March 22nd - 8:00am
Wednesday, March 22nd - During 4th Period

Miramar College Field TripWhen? Wednesday, April 19th, 7:45am-2pm
Where? 10440 Black Mountain Road, San Diego, CA
Current high school seniors who are considering attending Miramar College should attend this field trip to take math and English placement tests, go on a tour, and meet with a counselor to create an education plan. You are encouraged to attend one of the above listed Community College Workshops to learn more information prior to the field trip. Students must ride on bus in order to participate.
Reserve Your Spot Now for Field Trip!
You will need a Miramar Student ID number in order to complete the sign-up form. After completing the online form, students will need to obtain a field trip form from Ms. Bloomfield, in the Wolverine Center. Last day to register online is March 31st. Field trip forms are due no later than April 3rd. To sign up, click HERE.
Deadline: April 1st. Applicants must be graduating seniors, US citizens, planning to attend college, have demonstrated a commitment to public service, and demonstrate financial need.
Deadline: April 3rd. Applicants must be seniors with a minimum 3.8 GPA, and have participated in community involvement activities.
Deadline: April 7th. Applicants must be in 12th grade, US citizen or legal resident, and planning on going to 2-year, 4-year, or technical/trade school beginning Fall 2017.
Deadline: April 14th. Applicants must be current high school students who reside in San Diego county.
Deadline: April 14th. Applicants must be a graduating senior with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Summer Enrichment Opportunities
Seeking staff members for summer camps. We have opportunities at our residential camps located in Julian, CA and a day camp in San Diego, CA.
