Main idea: Me and My family

Early Literacy

  • Vocabulary: body, head, hair, eyes, nose, mouth, ears, neck, shoulders, tummy, arms, hands, fingers, legs, knees, feet, toes, 5 senses: eyes can see, mouth can taste, ears can hear, nose can smell, hands can touch;
My family: me, mommy, daddy, sister, brother, grandmother, grandfather.

My five senses - how we can use our five senses in our surrounding environment

  • Sense of touch - hands can touch soft, hard, bumpy, smooth and rough objects
  • Sense of sight - eyes can see different colors around us
  • Sense of hearing - ears can hear different kids of music instruments
  • Sense of taste - mouth can taste sweet, sour, bitter and salty food
  • Sense of smell - nose can smell different spices

Pre-writing skills

Developing proper pencil gasp and stronger muscles
