Universal Pre Kindergarten (UPK)
THIS TUESDAY, FEB. 21
LIVE - Q&A from 3:00 - 4:30
The latest information from our Local Coordinating Organization (LCO) for UPK.
The Colorado Department of Early Childhood (CDEC) is extending the timeline for matching families to providers. This will allow time for families to edit their applications or make changes to their provider choices. This change will also allow new families to get into the system before the first round of matching.
February 17th-24th: UPK applications will reopen to allow families who have already selected their providers to reevaluate their choices and make any necessary edits.
February 27: First round of applicant matches. Providers will receive the matches to their programs and will have four weeks to review the matches to ensure an appropriate match.
March 30th: Families will receive an email from the state letting them know which provider they were matched with and what the next steps for enrollment will be.

Preschool,
Taking my child to school she gets sick quite often. Trying to get her into a doctor is difficult. I do not like traveling over the pass and she doesn't get in very soon to be seen. It would be nice to have more medical services available.
