Dieringer District News

November 15, 2021

Educating every child for confidence today and contribution tomorrow.

The Dieringer School District will provide all students with appropriate high-quality programs in a safe, challenging and inclusive school environment. This mission will be undertaken with respect for and in partnership with families and the community.

A Message from the Superintendent

Today marks the culmination of a lot of hard work and dedication from our team here in Dieringer. As your recently hired Superintendent, a little over two years ago, I shared that communication was a priority of mine. I wanted to ensure that staff, students, parents, and the community have access to information about our schools and district. You’ll see as you read further in this newsletter, that we have made more strides toward our communication goals with the launch of our new website today.

Accompanying the new website is our change to this platform for newsletters. Smore provides us with an easy to use and accessible way to share information. We’re excited to use this going forward and are even more excited that our newsletters can be translated into many different languages, and that they will be accessible to individuals with disabilities.

I hope everyone enjoys the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday - which is just over a week away! Things really seem to be getting back to normal, or at least as normal as they will be. Maybe an even better way to say that is that we are clearly emerging into post-COVID new normal. Minus our preschoolers, all our students are now eligible for a COVID vaccine. With that, things are trending in the right direction as we move into the holidays. Gatherings with family and friends can resume for all of us now, especially those of us with younger children. I am excited as we enter this period and it warms my heart as I think of our students who can see their grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousins for the first time in almost two years.

Thank you,

Michael Farmer

Dieringer School District New Websites

Dieringer is proud to implement new district wide websites starting November 15th! Management has listened to the voices of the community and staff members to create new district wide sites that provide information in a more organized manner. The district's web team worked hard to reorganize menu structures, update existing information, create new content, develop new designs and use features that allow information to be more easily accessible to all.

Dieringer School District is committed to making it as easy as possible for parents and the public to engage with our schools and the completion of this project removes the outdated platforms that were not conducive to online engagement for district and student information.

Big picture

New Design & New Logos

We are excited to move our District forward with a brand new look as well as brand new logos that were voted on by the community!

All websites within the District are now mobile friendly! Families and members of the community should notice a similar design to find things easily when navigating between school and district websites.

Notice Any Issues on the New Websites?

Our web team has worked hard to develop hundreds of pages of content for this website. We would appreciate input on missing information, broken links or any ideas that you have about how we can make dieringer.wednet.edu a better experience for students, staff, families and our broader community.

You can do so by this Google Form or contacting our web team.
