News from Empower!
Mrs. Taylor's Update November 17th
We are finishing up our current modules this week!
Kindergarten and First Grades
LAUNCH: The students launched their original marble runs into Bell Graham Classrooms and are reviewing the feedback this week! They have been busy designing and building chain reactions! Check out Schoology for pictures, videos, and more!
Second and Third Grades
LAUNCH: The students in all 7 sections of second and third grade have been working individually, in partners or in groups to create original versions of Empower Games or original creations! We will launch these to our peers during a few Empower Sessions in November & December.
Fourth and Fifth Grades
LAUNCH: I am blown away with the project creations being made. Students have taken squishy circuits to make things light up such as; rainbows, the statue of liberty, monsters, bats, drums, and SO many more! Students have explored, tinkered, and built amazing creations with Snap Circuits! There are so many students that are working on sewn circuits that we have run out of needles, learned the art of needle threading, and experimented with how to light up stuffies with Little Bits, battery circuits, and more!
