Direct Democracy
By: Emily Williamson
Motto
The people have power.
Power to the People
All people over 18 can vote.
Give a Vote
Once you are an adult there are no limits to your freedom of voting.
Equal Power
All of the branches of the government are equal in power and the people vote to help make decisions.
How it works.
All people who are citizens can have a say in the government. Citizens over 18, that are men and own land can vote and be a part of the government. Citizens can vote, make law and submit them. The people and the government are equal. There is no difference between them.
My Opinion-
I wouldn't want to have this type of government. I say this because, if the people get to make laws, they could come up with anything and it could get passed. They could come up with some terrible law that could get passed by their friends and other people that are in the government with them. Also, if only men get to vote, then technically not all people have a say.
