It was such a fantastic turn out for the Donut Break event on Friday! It was truly priceless to see so many smiling, happy faces! There were also some amazing towers created by very talented cup stackers! Thank you to all who joined us! Also, a big thank you to Mr. Qualli, Ms. Winn, and Ms. Mulholland for all of their help! A big thank you to Leyla Capitelli and Viva Coffee for their amazing drinks and support!

We are looking for new voices and fresh ideas! Want to help plan our popular family events like Trunk or Treat, Secret Shop and Spring Fling? Interested in funding special improvement projects or educational programs at NES? Excited to collaborate with a passionate group of parents and NES faculty and staff? Then we are looking for YOU! NES PTO board elections for the 2018-19 school year will take place during our April PTO meeting. All are welcome and encouraged to run. You may run for any position (co-Presidents, co-Vice Presidents, Treasurer, Secretary) but we are especially looking for a treasurer! (Financial experience is helpful but not necessary; you will be trained by our current treasurer and board.) Newtown Bookshop Nights: Join Us!
Please join us for our third annual Newtown Bookshop Nights on Tuesday, March 6th and Wednesday March 7th. C'mon out to see your favorite teachers read and browse your local bookstore. Newtown Bookshop is located in the Village of Newtown Shopping Center next to Learning Express.
Newtown Elementary will receive 20% of the proceeds, which will help fund NES Library programming. Added bonus: if you can't make it to the readings on Tuesday or Wednesday, you can still participate in the fundraiser! Mention NES any day during the week--Monday thru Friday, March 5th - March 9th--and the 20% donation to NES will still apply. Thanks for your support!

Hersheypark Discounted Tickets - Now Available!
Warm weather is just around the corner. Now is the time to start thinking about or, better yet, planning your family summer get-away.
Back this year, the PTO has partnered with Hershey Park to offer discounted ticket rates to all NES family and friends!
This partnership brings sizable savings to you and your family:
A regular one-day ticket (ages 3-adult) normally sells for $66.95, however, the NES PTO is able to offer a discounted rate of $40.00 - a 40% saving!
These tickets are valid for a one-day visit April 27 - September 30, 2018
