Uplift Surveys
Teacher Incentive Allotment
Uplift has published information on Uplink on the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) - a provision in House Bill 3 that gives school districts the opportunity to create a local designation system that identifies the top 30% of classroom teachers state-wide as “recognized,” “exemplary,” and “master”. Districts across the state of Texas with designated teachers will receive an allotment ranging from $3,000-$32,000 for each teacher with said designation that goes toward compensation at the campus where the teacher works. Please take a few minutes to review the information on Uplink by next Wednesday as this is an exciting opportunity for teachers in TX and for teachers in Uplift. The network will send out a survey to all teachers next week to collect more input on TIA – and it will be helpful to know more about what TIA is beforehand.
A Message from Ms. Henderson
How to Address IT Issues with Parents
While promoting social distancing to our families, we suggest parents and scholars to email edtech@uplifteduation.org so the IT team can attempt to
resolve any login and Chromebook issue remotely. If it’s determined the issue cannot be resolved remotely, they will be advised to visit a “drop-off” location during one of the open windows. We want to emphasize that these two locations are for drop off and pick up of loaner devices only. The IT team will not repair hardware, troubleshoot or install software during this period. Users will receive an email from IT once their broken device is fixed and schedule for pick up at the same location where the device was dropped off.
Schedule: Tuesdays and Fridays; 9AM to 12PM – BEGINNING TUESDAY, MARCH 31st Locations: Uplift Williams 1750 Viceroy Drive, Dallas, TX 75235 and Uplift Meridian 1801 S. Beach Street, Fort Worth, TX 76105

Staff Testing for COVID-19
See email from Yasmin. To recap, if you, as an Uplift staff member, have been tested or if you have tested positive for COVID-19, please email hr@uplifteducation.org so that the network can provide support. Uplift will not release your personal information to the Uplift community
ARDS
We must complete any ARDs that are scheduled. Accept ARD invites from Johnson, Clark/Warren or a member of the SPED team.
Scholar Packets Update
By now all packets should be received. If parents are still requesting follow these steps;
- ask parents if they have access to e-mail and a computer, if so send them the packet in an e-mail
- If the answer it no to #1, then submit their address in the link below.
*Please note that packets are only being mailed out on Fridays, so if #1 is possible that would be best as they will have to wait another week.
