Mrs. Kott's Korner
Thank you so much to all of the families that attended Parent-Teacher Conferences!! What a wonderful way to show your child that we are all committed to helping them learn and grow! If you were unable to meet with your child’s teacher, please be sure to contact him/her right away. We would love to have the opportunity to discuss the progress your child has made, as well as set goals for continued success!
Has your child talked to you about the Bucket Filler lessons they have been learning? In December and January, Mrs. Dejonge and I visited classes to teach students more about being a Bucket Filler at Davisburg. Lessons focused on: filling buckets by being respectful and kind, how to not dip buckets and when/how to use your lid. Please ask your child about these concepts, they should be able to give you some examples about each of them. If you would like some ideas on how to reinforce Bucket Fillers at home, please let me know.
It is wonderful to greet students as they enter our school each day and see their smiling faces! As they get on the busses or are picked up, it is so rewarding to know that every student has had another awesome day at Davisburg Elementary! What more could we ask for?
Thank you for the opportunity to be part of your child’s education! I am beyond grateful!
Truly,
Denise Kott
Congratulations Matthew Kaczmarek
