EdcampRI 2016
PD for teachers by teachers
What will you learn?
We are excited to announce that over 100 educators from around the state have already registered to join us at EdcampRI 2016! This event will take place on January 16 at Rhode Island College. It's likely that many are teachers and administrators from your district. The participant list has been growing every day, and registration is still open. Please take advantage of this amazing professional development opportunity for teachers by teachers.
Please share this registration link with your teachers and administrators. EdCamp is free and it is awesome!
EdCamp is a great opportunity for us to share expertise across districts. For example, your district's learning may have been focused on Restorative Justice this year, while another's may have been focused on Writers' Workshop. At EdCamp, all kids across RI stand to benefit from both, when educator experts collaborate and share their knowledge.
Special Guests!
*Mary Moen, Program Director of Media Smart Libraries: Building Partnerships to support children in a digital age. Supported and made possible by a grant awarded to URI Graduate School of Library and Information Services
*Suzanne Costa, Ed. D Media Smart library leader and advisory board member.
We look forward to seeing a great turnout from your district.
