Advice from a Leader
Gavin Ingram thinks being a leader means "setting a good example for others." He explains: "You should never be a bad example for others. If a teacher asks you to be quiet in the hallway, a leader would not talk, even when no one is looking. Do the right thing, no matter who is watching." Gavin's favorite HABIT is Sharpen the Saw. He says it "basically means you do what you need to do!" His teacher often reminds students to sharpen the saw on the weekend. Gavin shares that he does this by getting the "required amount of rest and eating three small meals each day." Way to go, Gavin!
Spring Break - Surveys Due - Don't forget!
Jackson students have been working hard learning all about the Seven Habits, as well as using them OUTSIDE of the classroom! Please be sure to complete your family survey about the Seven Habits. A special prize will be awarded to the classrooms with the most participation. The surveys will be sent home this week and are due back before your student begins Spring Break.
