- The historical event that can be used exemplify my ideas is the Rape of Nanking in the year of 1937-1945.

- The contemporary event or society that can be used to exemplify my ideas is the International Terrorism. For example “Theory” of them having a connection which the plane flying in the twin towers (9-11)

It happened in Japan during the Sino-Japanese War (1937-1945).

The main targets to the were the Chinese citizens (Men, Women and Children).

- About 300,000 people were killed because of this massacre.
- About 20,000 women were raped by the Japanese soldiers during the six weeks.

Yes the people remained silent mainly because they had no choice. They were going to die gruesomely either way.
