From the Principal:

Happy November! It's hard to believe that November is here! Progress Reports will go home with students tomorrow, so please check your child's folder over the weekend. We have a busy couple of weeks until Thanksgiving Break, so stay connected through your child's teacher, our website, Facebook, and Twitter!

Next Friday, we will have a special Veteran's Day Assembly to honor the men and women who fought for our country. Our third grade is in charge of this assembly, so we hope you can make plans to attend. Assemblies will be at 8:15 and 9:00, in the Student Auditorium.

Thank you for your continued involvement, as parents, in our school! We appreciate you!

Counselor's Corner

Our character trait for November is Citizenship. A good citizen helps their community, plays by the rules, and respects authority and the law. Talk to your children about ways your family values being a good citizen!

Life High School Waxahachie

Please join LHSW at Raising Cane's in Waxahachie on November 3rd between 4:00pm -10:00pm. Mention the fundraiser at the register and Cane's will donate 15% of sales to the girl's basketball team.

Don't Forget!

  • It is very important that you have your hang tag hanging from your mirror and student card visible each and every time you are picking up students.
  • All visitors will be required to submit a driver's license/ state id and have it scanned in order to be admitted into our campus. Please be prepared for this when you come to the office to check in.
  • Just a reminder that tardies start at 7:55.

October Teacher & Staff Member of the Month

Mrs. Adames has worked for Life School for 15 years. She is a dedicated kindergarten teacher, and a great support to her team. Her team says she's an amazing teammate and a great friend. She is creative, positive, patient, encouraging, and calm. She shows kindness to all, and always has a smile on her face. We are blessed to have Mrs. Adames as one of our awesome kindergarten teachers!

Mrs. Perkins has done such a great job as out lead aide this year! She is always willing and ready to help when and where needed. She communicates well, and keeps everyone informed. We can always count on Tracie to get the job done, and do it with a smile on her face. She works hard, and truly loves the students and staff.
