Hello Dunning Community!
We all had a blast at the FUN RUN last Friday, and we raised a lot of money for the school. There are a lot of videos and pictures posted on the PTO FB page. Thank you to everyone who supported the run. A special thank you to Heather Lounsbury for all of her hard work ensuring that the run was a huge success.
As we walked around the school last week and visited classrooms, it was wonderful to see how each classroom is busy throughout the day, There is a clear focus on learning and student success.
Sincerely,
Ms. Schecter & Mrs. Mulkerin

What are you doing next Monday when we have a day off from school? Did you know that the Framingham Public Library offers free passes to local museums, historic attractions, botanic gardens and zoos? These passes let you and your family visit the attractions for free or reduced admission. Here’s more info…
You can book passes by calling the reference desk at 508-532-5570 x4361 or reserve them yourself online by clicking here. There are a couple of things you should check to make sure everything goes smoothly.

Make sure there’s a time when the library is open that you can go to pick up the passes.

You are invited to become a member of the Dunning School Council.
A school council is a representative, school building-based committee composed of the principal, parents, teachers, community members and, at the secondary level, students, required to be established by each school pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 71, Section 59C.
The main purpose of Dunning School Council this year will be to look at family and community engagement at Dunning and to assist in the development of a plan to address this area.
We envision a school in which all families feel a sense of belonging and feel confident that their contributions to the community are welcomed and appreciated. We work hard to make this the case but know there is always more work to be done. We have a short survey to help us identify positive changes we can make. Please help us help the school community by completing the following survey.
Please email Ms. Schecter (mschecter@framingham.k12.ma.us) if you would like to learn more about getting involved in the school council.
