A NEW YEAR, A NEW SEMESTER!
2016...... TEACHING LIKE A CHAMPION EVERY DAY
Welcome back! It's 2016, and I am sure that many of us have thought of what this year will have in store for each of us. But one question I hope we also ask, what will we bring to our students in 2016? Our students deserve our best each and every day, and that begins with day one of our return. Our approach to the second semester will lay the foundation for the rest of our school year. The first semester of this year we worked to change many things within our school. We have made great progress, but our job is never ending. We have to bring that "Champions Attitude" every minute of every day! Let's face it, that is tough! We know the job that is before us each day. We each have our opinions about ways to fix the mounting federal and state issues which follow education today. But we need to not focus on the negative, which come to us from the state or federal leadership. What we must do at Wes-Del is to focus on the one place each of us know we have total control, the classroom. Our challenge for 2016 is to push ourselves to make our classroom and our school the best it can be and has ever been for the students that come through our doors each day. We will work together as a team of champions to make 2016 the best year in the rich history of Wes-Del! It's so good to be back! TEACH LIKE A CHAMPION TODAY!

Students will be called down to the gymnasium by PA for the meeting. The middle school will be seated in the upper level, while the high school will be in the lower level of bleachers.
