Congratulations Class of 2022! On Saturday, June 4th, family, friends, and staff gathered to celebrate the 123rd graduating class of Brownsburg High School.

BCSC semester 2 report cards are now available for download in PowerSchool parent accounts - but only through Sunday, June 19. Report cards are not available on mobile, but by logging in on a desktop. PowerSchool and report cards will be unavailable starting June 20 to rollover data for the next school year. PowerSchool will then be available for PK-8 on July 22 and BHS on July 26.

*BHS Team 2022 families - you will be removed from BCSC communications when PowerSchool rolls over to the new year on June 20th.

Since 2018, the entire Brownsburg High School senior class has been invited to their own "signing day" of sorts. We celebrate BHS Team 2022's plans for after graduation in this year's Bye Bye Bulldogs video, featuring nearly 300 of this year's graduating seniors. The video is produced by Mr. Good & BHS-TV students. (Students are in alphabetical order.)

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) oversees all school meal programs throughout the country. The USDA waiver program that allowed BCSC to offer free meals has expired. Families may qualify for free or reduced meals and may apply through an online application. This application will be sent to all families in July and may also cover curricular materials, for those who qualify. CLICK HERE to see meal prices for the 2022-2023 school year.

Thank you to all who participated in Brownsburg Relay For Life. Once again, Brownsburg staff, students, and families proudly represented their schools in fundraising and in spirit. Final donations are still being entered, but at this time, this year's Relay raised over $55,000 for the American Cancer Society! CLICK HERE if you'd still like to donate.

For the second consecutive year, the BHS Boys Track & Field team finished second in the IHSAA State meet in Bloomington. Senior John Colquitt was a three time State Champ in the 110M hurdles, 300M hurdles, and joined Dominic Calhoun, DeAndre Cooper, and Zemonda Wilson to claim the 4x100 Relay State Title. The Girls 4x100 Relay Team of Aysa Thomas, Aysa Thurston, Jordan Griffin and Paige Kirtz was the State Runner-Up.

Other State placers for the girls: 4x400 relay team of Aysa Thomas, Aysa Thurston, Jordan Griffin and Paige Kirtz (6th) and Ashlyn Schwab in the Pole Vault (7th).

Other State placers for the boys: John Colquitt in the Long Jump (8th), Haiden Diemer-McKinney in the 800M (5th), Shon Tupuola in the Discus (4th) and Bryce Patterson in the Shot Put (6th).

Team 2022 graduates from Harris Academy participated in a ceremony with their family and classmates before the full ceremony with the entire class.

Construction at West Middle School starts this summer with the renovation & expansion scheduled to be completed in June of 2023. Families of students moving at BWMS are receiving quarterly construction email updates, with the next one scheduled for July. The BCSC Food Pantry launched in the summer of 2014 through a partnership with Gleaners Food Bank. Thanks to the hard work of community and staff volunteers and Applied Skills students in the Collaborators for Success program at BHS, the pantry has served over 27,000 individuals and 7,200 families since 2014. BCSC families have also contributed donations to help make the pantry such a great resource for our community.

The pantry is open again on June 16 from 3pm-5:30pm in a drive thru setting and always on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Thursdays of the month. Visitors can use door #7 at the ALPHA/Harris Academy building, 725 C South Green Street.
