If you have any questions please contact Coach Butt at EButt@gananda.org. | Arc and Flame Field Trip On Friday, April 5, 2019, the high school art club and the Photography classes had the wonderful opportunity to travel to Rochester to participate in morning glass and blacksmith workshops at Arc and Flame with an afternoon visit to the high school photography exhibition, "Through the Student Lens," at Image City on University Avenue. The morning engaged the students in glass and metal creations working closely with the expert artists. After lunch at Wegmans on East Avenue, students were able to see their Gananda photographers showcased along with schools across Monroe and Ontario County. As always, the Gananda students were well received. Both events were very complimentary of our youth. Gananda PROUD! | PLTW BioMedical Yoga Class As part of a unit on Biofeedback in the PLTW BioMedical course, Mrs. Cindy Steven came to the HS and taught a yoga session. She provided the students with a 60 minute session working on relaxation techniques, proper breathing, yoga poses for flexibility visualization techniques. This will help the students understand how to help their patients relax while they undergo medical procedures in their future careers. |

Health and Attendance Office News
- Reminder - the school requires a request from the guardian in writing for any student to leave during the school day. An email to Mrs. Green works, or sending a note in with your student in the morning and having them drop it off to the Attendance/Health Office. If we do not have something in writing we need guardians to come in to the building and sign their student out.
- It is a NYS requirement for 9th and 11th grade students to have physicals and submit a copy to the Health Office.
