Kindergarten Through Fourth Grade Parents Only
Dear Parents:
During the months of May and June, the Richard Mann teachers and myself will be devoting considerable time and energy placing children into classrooms for the upcoming year. It is the building philosophy to create classes that support learning for all children. Therefore, the primary goal of the placement process is to produce classes that are balanced in terms of gender, abilities, social maturity and peer relationships, and which are likely to foster healthy and productive learning environments.
Please use the following link to access the Parent Input Form: https://forms.gle/gdEYXGo5bPdoHDGe9
FORMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER Friday, May 24, 2019
Thank you for your help in this very important process.
Sincerely,
Kimberly Ernstberger
Elementary Principal

Therapy Dogs
The Gananda Board of Education has recently adopted a policy to include therapy dogs. Interacting with a therapy dog has many physical and emotional benefits, helping students to relax and destress. We are excited to be introducing a therapy dog to Mrs. Peterson’s class at the high school, and to a classroom at the Gananda Middle School in the near future. All therapy dogs and owners have been tested and accredited by Therapy Dogs International (TDI) or a comparable authority. A therapy dog will always be on leash and under the supervision of their owner.
If your student has a dog allergy, please notify the appropriate school office.

There is a range of symptoms from a concussion, and students with concussions may display very different signs and symptoms. Any student who is suspected of having sustained a concussion should be immediately removed from cognitive, athletic and other physical activities and remain out until evaluated and cleared to return to activity by a licensed health care provider.
You can find Gananda's concussion policy on our website at www.gananda.org under the Athletic Department page.
