May 2021 Newsletter
Dear Parents/Legal Guardians,
Thank you for your continued assistance and support as we navigate the return to school in a four-day, IN PERSON, learning model.
Beginning Monday, May 3, 2021 any student who is currently in a BLUE or GOLD cohort, or are a REMOTE learner who has requested a return to school, will now attend school in a four-day-a-week, IN PERSON, learning model. Please understand, if you did not request a change in your current REMOTE learning model via the district survey or directly through me, then your current REMOTE learning model remains the same. Students will physically attend school four-days-a-week IN PERSON (Wednesdays will still be REMOTE) and meals will be available to take home on Tuesdays, (3 breakfasts and 1 lunch) and on Fridays, (4 breakfasts and 2 lunches). Therefore, breakfast will NOT be in the classrooms or in the Cafeteria; students will be eating at home. Please understand, additional breakfast meals will NOT be available for students in school and students should plan on breakfast at home beginning Monday, May 3.
Students who decided to remain as REMOTE learners will still be able to pick up their meals and/or assignments on Wednesdays from 11:00 - 3:00.
Students who attend school IN PERSON should continue to transport their iPads to and from school daily in the event they need to complete assignments and/or there is a need for a "remote" learning day.
If you have any questions, feel free to call 478-4402.
