Sponsor Angels: Thank You!
Here are just a few things our parents had to say:
"Thank you very much for your generosity towards our families this Christmas season! God bless you! Happy Holidays :)"
"Thank you so much for everything. You have no idea how much of a blessing this is."
AND while we love hearing letters from parents, letters from kids are EXTRA special. This is one letter we received from a kid in one of our Sponsor Angels families. I included the letter below. It reads:
Thank you for giving us this stuff.
It's nice for you to give us a better, more fun, Christmas.
Thank you for giving us these warm clothes that will help us with the cold winter.
I [redacted] made you this art to wish you a merry Christmas.
HOLIDAY PARTY: A LITTLE DIFFERENT THIS YEAR
While we couldn't gather together this year, there were a number of local partners who helped bring some of the great things from our holiday party to our families.
With the support of local partners, families who signed up were gifted meals to local restaurants, a family activity, and Reflections in the Park Tickets.
We hope to be able to get everyone together for a fun party again soon!
Special Thanks to These Local Partners for Helping This Year:
- Fidelity Bank and Trust for sponsoring Reflections in the Park Tickets
- Wahlert High School Social Justice Club who delivered baskets of love filled with essential supplies, blankets, and games for families in the most need.
- Mercy Medial Associates volunteers who helped pack care packages cards for our Sponsor Angel families.
- All the heroes, businesses, and caring people who helped support our kids in any way this season.
Watch Again - Puppets on the Prairie
Our Marshall Elementary kids put together a puppet show with help from our partners at the Sisters of St. Francis Canticle of Creation Center . . . and they really want you to see it.
These kids worked so hard to write their own show with puppets that shared the many things they learned about nature and the surrounding wildlife on the trails.
