Join the Short Story Club hosted by the Writing Center
The Short Story Club will be held in the Writing Center, located on the 2nd floor and down the hall from the library.
Our kick-off meeting is on Monday, October 19th, from 12pm-1pm!
Members can expect to come to weekly meetings, where a supportive and relaxed environment for brainstorming and discussion will be provided. Over the course of the year, we will focus on writing one short story. We'll start with ideas and brainstorming activities, move on to first drafts, and develop a safe and stress-free process of revision until we eventually get to a place of completion. The members of the group will decide what they want to do with their stories once completed, whether that means submitting to writing contests, making a visual piece to go along with the story, or just taking them home to be enjoyed privately.
The Short Story Club is open to all Cornish students.
