November 11 - Holiday
Track 3 returns
Math and Science Night - THURSDAY!!
We hope you will join us for our amazing annual event... We have lots of new presenters this year and we are so excited about Thursday!!!! Please note that due to space, materials, and presenter expectations we will be having ticketed rooms. Once all of the tickets have been given out for the room it will close for that rotation. You may choose to wait in line for the next rotation or find a different room. There are LOTS of rooms this year, but please do have some backup choices in mind in case one of the rooms you want to visit are full.
Food Trucks start serving dinner at 5:30pm and serve through 8:00pm (cash and cards will be accepted, bring a blanket for picnic style dining). This year's food trucks are: D'Burritos, Fired Up Pizza & BBQ, Luigi's Ice Cream
Schedule for the evening: Please note due to parking and space at presentations, we ask that you stick to the grade schedule. If you have siblings that span both, that is fine.
- K-2 starts at 6:00 (6-6:20, 6:25-6:45, 6:50-7:10)
- 5th Grade Science Fair (in the CAFETERIA this year) starts at 6
- 3-5 starts at 7:30 (7:30-7:50, 7:55-8:15, 8:20-8:40)
On Friday, we sent home a plan for the evening with a map so that you can have some ideas ahead of time of where your family may want to visit. (Track 3, you received yours when you tracked out, so check those bookbags!) Bring that plan with you so you will know exactly where to go!
New this year: Ultraviolet Glow in the Dark, Fossil Fun, Toby Box Station, Scratch the basics of coding and game making, and MORE
Returning: Wild Animal Adventures, Ninja Fit, Slime, Star Wars Robotics, and MORE
Elections on Tuesday, Nov. 5
Thank you!
Make-Up Day, Saturday, Nov. 16
Carpool Reminders
During car-riders am and pm, there is no left-turn into the parking lot. There is a road sign to remind you, but we have had lots of folks trying to do this lately and it seriously interferes with the traffic pattern and causes problems for those exiting our parking lot as well as those trying to move through Dwight Rowland - including buses. Please help us out by reminding your friendly folks who drive your students here, but may not be reading the memo (neighbors, grandparents, spouses, etc.)
We appreciate you so much and thank you for helping us ensure the safety of everyone by following these policies!!
