Life After the Epidemic
Philadelphia, a broken city, begins to pick up the pieces as stores re-open and families come together again. Congress slowly reconvenes and order begins to be restored. Many orphans struggle on their own and several orphanages are closed due to lack of resources, leaving some on their own.
The fever seems to have been spread throughout Philadelphia. General Washington has returned to the city, causing many more to return home after the epidemic.
The lack of food caused many people to die who were not infected with the fever. Now that it has come to an end, with a lack of food, people struggle to make ends meet and support their families - or what is left of them...
As the leaves begin to fall and the first frost occurs, the yellow fever will come to an end. With thousands dead and many missing, Philadelphia has much repair to be done.
