We're halfway through September and we have lots going on at Polson! Thank you for your patience as we begin a new organization following a review of our school enrolment. Students will be met by their new teachers on the pavement. Teachers will have signs to help students who are moving find them, but if you're not sure, you can always check with a staff member outside who will help you.

You may have noticed the new painting on our school yard thanks to the funding from our school advisory council. The parents on council do a wonderful job of supporting our school. We invite parents/guardians to become involved in the life of the school and on our school advisory council. The first meeting and elections for this year's council will be held on Wednesday, September 20th.

Thank you for making sure our students are safe by observing traffic rules and parking restrictions during arrival and dismissal times. If you drive, please be patient, watchful and alert!

A few reminders:

• The parking lots have limited space; please do not linger and watch for student near portables
• Please remember that accessibility spots are for families with permits only.
• The area in front of the school is a Bus Zone. No parking, idling, or drop-offs are permitted.
• Yard supervision begins at 8:55 am. The school day begins at 9:10 am.

If your child has any significant health conditions such as asthma or allergies or if they require medical procedures and/or medications to be administered at school, it is imperative that we receive medical plans prior to the start of school. Thank-you to those parents who have already submitted this information.
