Important Information for Students Entering 7th Grade

Immunization Requirements- Incoming 7th Graders

In an effort to provide the best quality service to families new to our area, we ask that you please have your child’s registration packets completed prior to your appointment.

Please remember that Florida State Law requires that your child to receive a TDAP immunization prior to entering 7th grade. Please bring in their immunization record so your child is able to receive their class schedule. Listed below is our local health department information or see your child’s pediatrician before the start of the school year.

Advanced Placement Summer Assignments

Extended School Year Information

Extended school year summer credit recovery information was provided to families of students that meet the eligibility criteria in the beginning of May. Please expect a communication to be mailed home regarding acceptance in the program and instructions on next steps. If you have already turned in your paperwork then bus information will be forthcoming on or before June 8th. If you have not returned you paperwork yet we have some spaces still available for high school students. A free breakfast and lunch will be available on campus. If you have any questions please call your school counselor for additional information. Any junior who has not returned your letter please do so immediately to student services for Mrs. Hawk to request a spot. The program runs from June 11 – July 12th student class hours are 7:30-11:00 am, lunch service will be from 11:00- 11:20. Buses will pick students up to return home at 11:30 am.

Important Information Regarding 4th Quarter Report Cards:

This year, 4th quarter report cards will be available online in the myStudent portal after final state assessment data is received and loaded into the student information system. Paper report cards will not be mailed home; report cards will only will be accessed in the parent and student portals of myStudent.

Report cards will be available shortly after state assessment results are loaded, which is expected to be the end of June. All families will be notified by the school district by phone message when report cards become available for families to view.

In order to access the 4th quarter report cards, it is essential for parents to have a myStudent account already set up. To create a parent account, go to the district website,www.pascoschools.org, and click on the Parents link at the top. Then click on the Parent Access to myStudent link below the video.

Assessment Information: EOC Make-Ups and Algebra 1 Retake Information

Summer Assessments are for any student that needs to make-up or re-take a state-administered End-of-Course Assessments. Re-takes are only given for the Algebra 1 EOC. Summer make-ups/re-takes will take place on the following dates:

Mon, July 9 Civics EOC/Biology 1 EOC

Tues, July 10 Algebra 1 EOC/Geometry EOC Session 1

Wed, July 11 Algebra 1 EOC/Geometry EOC Session 2

Thur, July 12 US History EOC

Students taking the Algebra 1 or Geometry EOC’s must attend both sessions. All assessments will begin at 8am. Students should report to testing rooms by 7:30am. Click on the link to register: Summer Assessment Registration
