Infographic/Plate Techtonics
Did you Know?
Plate Tectonics
Plate tectonics are not real plates, but they call them this because of the way they act the same as real plates. There are 3 types of plate boundary's and they all do different things (you will lean that later in the flyer). Plate tectonics occur at the crust (the thin layer of Earth where the land/ocean is) and the mantle (where the movement occurs).
Convergent Plate Boundry
Convergent plate boundary are the boundary's that clash together. Member when i talked about they act like plates well when you clash plates together they break right? Well when these clash together they form mountains and volcanoes or some times trenches below the ocean. MOST DANGEROUS TO LIVE BY.
Divergent Plate Boundary
Divergent plate boundary's are the plates that slide away from each other. It makes earthquakes by the rift and makes lava spews out under the ocean forming hard rock. NOT AS DANGEROUS AS THE REST.
Transform Plate Boundary's
Transforming plate boundary's slide past each other. When this occurs the building/city in 2 different directions. It can also form earthquakes small to large. Compared to rest no magma is formed. 2ND WORST PLACE TO LIVE NEAR.
Conclusion
So I hoped you learned a little thing or two about plate tectonics. Did you learn the three kinds what are they list them in the comments below if theirs something I missed tell me in the comments as well. Hope you enjoyed. P.S.
