Welcome back to school, Wildcats!!
I hope that you have all had an amazing summer break! The time has come for us to start the 2022-23 school year and I am so excited to have you all back on campus. I cannot wait for the year to start - it's going to be AWESOME!!

WELCOME BACK!!
The first day of school is this coming Wednesday, August 17th. School will start at 8:30 am. Please note that the first three days of school (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday) will be early release days. School will get out at 1:30 pm on Aug. 17, 18, and 19. Please check out our 2022-23 ECHS Bell Schedule for additional information. We look forward to seeing you all on Wednesday!
Freshman and Students New to ECHS
Welcome to the Wildcat family! Our campus will be open for you to come on Tuesday evening, August 16, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm if you would like to get an idea of where your classes are located. You will be able to access your class schedule in Aeries on Monday evening. There are no structured events for the open campus, but there will be people here to guide you if you need assistance.

Want to know what classes you have and where they are located? If so, students will be able to access their class schedule in their Aeries student portal this Monday, August 15, after 5:00 pm
2022-23 ECHS Handbook
1. Cell Phone Policy - please read page 17-18 for more detailed info on this policy
- Cell phones must be off and put away in backpack
- Cell phones may be confiscated if they are out during class time
2. Tardy Policy - please read page 14 for more detailed info on this policy
- Students must arrive to class before the bell rings
- Continual tardies will result in the student being assigned lunch detention and may eventually lead to a Saturday School.
Outside Food Deliveries No Longer Allowed
News for the Week...
- Student ID Cards: For the safety of all students and staff, we need to be able to identify our Wildcat students. Therefore, all students must have their ID card every day.
No Dogs Allowed on School Grounds: For the safety of all students and staff, dogs are no longer allowed on school grounds at any OUSD school. Please be sure to leave dogs and other pets at home. All properly licensed service animals are always welcome.
