A note from the teacher . . .

  • If you have not yet returned your child's pictures or picture money, please do so next week.
  • Report card covers need to be signed and returned.
  • As your child is reading books for Reading Counts, don’t forget to write them down for the 100 Book Club. We will have students on the morning announcements when they receive their medals for reading 100 books, so don’t forget to write them down!

  • Our character skill for this upcoming week is resiliency. Resiliency is the ability to bounce back when facing problems and challenges. Please send me an email or a picture if your child exhibits this skill so we can share it in our morning crew meeting!

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is quickly approaching! We will be exchanging Valentines on Thursday, February 11. Students will need to bring in a box to hold their Valentines. Your child may choose to decorate the box however he likes. Use a tissue box, cereal box, shoe box, or any other container that works. Make sure there is ample space to put the cards through and that your student's name is clearly displayed. Please do not send boxes in before February 11, as we do not have space to store them. Be creative and have fun!
