What is Cedar Falls High School Lunch & Learn Career Speaker Series?
As a high school student, you’re probably thinking about graduation and what comes next. You have many important decisions ahead of you. What are you going to do after graduation? What are you going to study in college? What do you want to do with your life? These are just a few of the many questions high school students face. We know how stressful it all must be for you. Finding purpose and finding a passion helps relieve a lot of stress. We believe introducing and exposing high school students to different careers will help offer guidance to identifying areas of interest for our student body.
Finding the right career path is a challenge for many high school students. You're not alone! The CFHS School Counselors are partnering with the Cedar Valley Career Connections staff to bring you career speakers that will come in groups of monthly careeer clust themes. For example, the month of December our speakers will be related to the science career industry. We hope that a variety of speakers will intrigue students to come learn about the possibilities there are in the world of work and how to get there.
We are always looking for recommended visitors, so if you have a career field in mind, please do not hesitate to give us a recommendation!
