Stations of the Cross
TONIGHT! March 21, 2019 ~ 9:00PM ~ Linehan Chapel
TONIGHT from 9:00PM to 9:30PM in Linehan Chapel
You are invited TONIGHT, THURSDAY, March 21 at 9:00PM in Linehan Chapel to pray the Stations of the Cross. This traditional Lenten prayer is a powerful way to enter into the mystery of Jesus' gift of himself to us.
The Stations of the Cross is not a historical examination of “what happened” on that day in history. Rather, the Stations of the Cross provide an opportunity to use this long-standing Christian prayer to let Jesus touch our hearts deeply by showing us the depth of his love for us by placing ourselves into the journey Jesus took on Good Friday.
The point of this exercise is to lead us to gratitude. It will also lead us into a sense of solidarity with all our brothers and sisters who suffer throughout the world. Praying the stations also helps us to remember that we are not abandoned by God as we carry the crosses of our own lives.
Please consider joining us TONIGHT at 9:00PM in Linehan Chapel.
Come again or for the first time.
