Just a reminder for onsite students that the attendance expectation is that you are in class at school, even during inclement weather. Onsite students who 'choose' to be online will be counted absent even though you will be allowed to join class virtually.

Due to the extreme cold weather, Sophomore students who drive will be allowed to park in the baseball parking lot through Tuesday, February 16th. Wednesday, February 17th, they will resume parking in the Church parking lot.

We wanted to inform you of some important testing days coming second semester:

• Wednesday, March 3rd is ACT testing day for Juniors. Sophomores and Seniors will not be in attendance that day.
• Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress testing (ISASP) will take place in April. More to come.

Spring Conferences will be March 2nd and March 4th from 3:45 PM-7:45 PM. Similar to Fall conferences, these will also be virtual.

Valley and Southwoods students competing in IHSSA State competition earned 23 Division 1 ratings! Great job to all the IHSSA participants who competed!

Congratulations to Choralation and Ignition Show Choirs as they competed at Touch of Class yesterday at Benton Community Schools in VanHorne, IA! Choralation swept the championships in all categories!

Valley Drama will be presenting BRIGHT STAR as this year's Spring Musical. The performance dates are April 30, May 1 and May 2.
