Hello, Lighthouse Families,
Time is moving quickly, and we are already nearing the end of the second trimester. Students continue to work hard to complete their learning goals for the trimester and inquiry presentations have started. I am excited to listen in on their presentations and hear about all the things they have learned around their interests and passions.
Other Updates and Reminders
- Spring Break: Spring break is almost here. There is no school Friday, March 11-Monday, March 21. School resumes Tuesday, March 22 with the beginning of the third trimester.
- Yearbook: We are looking for one or two parent volunteers to help put together the Lighthouse yearbook. Please contact me at lcisew@district16.org if you are interested in helping out.
- Grades: Grades for trimester 2 will be available on March 25, 2022 at 4 p.m. on the parent portal.
Let’s finish this trimester strong by continuing to work hard and celebrate all of the learning we have accomplished. I hope everyone is able to enjoy the warmth and sunshine this week!
With Gratitude,
Lisa Cisewski

The Week of Giving, February 21-26, was full of panther pride. There were themed spirit wear days, dine to donate opportunities in partnership with local restaurants, a silent auction with more than 350 packages open for bidding and the culminating event of the week - the Panther Party. Watch the special message of thanks below and read the recap.
