MJHS Book Club Received Funding for Fall 2016!

Thanks to Donors Choose, the MJHS Book Club will continue on for the 2016-2017 school year! Students who signed up for the Book Club received their books in late October. Our first meeting will be on Tuesday, Nov. 29th at 3:45. Our Fall Selection will be A Hundred Hours of Night by Anna Woltz. The book follows one runaway girl's journey from Amsterdam to New York City during the harrowing days of Hurricane Sandy. Please feel free to join us at the meeting!

New Enhancements for SIRS Researcher and CultureGrams

Free Georgia State Basketball Tickets!

Georgia State offered our students a football ticket reading promotion in October and they will extend a new opportunity to our students in Nov/Dec.! Georgia State Athletics will provide 3 FREE basketball tickets to every student who independently reads at least 4 books by January 15. In addition, Georgia State Athletics will designate any student who reads 5 books independently by March 15 as a Panther Scholar.

Target 2021 Students - Access to Princeton Review Tutors

All Target 2021 students will now have access to Princeton Review’s Homework Hotline. This resource allows students to have 24 hour access to an online tutor. In addition, students may submit essays for review and receive feedback within a few hours.
