Calories fuel our bodies
A calorie is a measurment of heat. Specifically its a unit of heat that can raise one gram of water to one degree celsius. Instead of calories fueling your body mitochondria is used instead.
All calories are created to be equal
Our fuel comes from carbohydrates, fats and protein. Carbs and fats give up calories very easy because they're to supply quick energy. All of the three energy providers have different effects on your body.
Its not that simple
Not all food that is swallowed will be digested. The nutrients are sucked out of the food through the intestines spongy walls. Also different carbs are processed a different rates. Also with 60 grams of fiber you will lose 20 percent of your calories. So you you should basically watch what you eat.
Excersise burns most of our calories
Our bodies don't burn off more than 30 percent of our total calories. Yet 60 to 70 percent of our calories goes to our normal bodily functions. You should have 11 calories per pound of weight thaat you have on our body.
Low- Calories Foods Help you lose weight.
Instead of eating food with lots of sugar choose sugar-free products. Cutting sugar is the easiest way to eliminate calorie intake. Yet don't drink too many sugar free foods because it can affect your body just as bad as sugary foods.
