This session will explore why it is important that teachers provide opportunities for students to develop digital literacy skills to master the Common Core state standards and to utilize technology to demonstrate their learning on PARCC. Resources will be provided that assist teachers in enhancing students’ digital literacy skills and evaluating their PARCC readiness.
Objectives:
- Explore PARCC sample item prototypes and their connection to digital literacy
- Learn about technology tools that can be incorporated into Common Core Standards to prepare students for PARCC
- Evaluate resources that assess students’ proficiency for PARCC
