Kia ora koutou,

This Friday 3rd March 2023 the weather is looking good for us to take our whole school to Williams Park (known as Days Bay) in Eastbourne. Your child will have handed in their permission slip from our previous scheduled date so there is no need to hand in another one.

Please ensure your child is at school at the usual time of 8.45 a.m. and we will return by 3.00 p.m. At the end of the day buses will need to be able to enter and exit the school grounds, so please do not park in these areas until the buses have left.

Students will need to bring with them a cut lunch/(school lunches will be provided), drink, sun hat, sun block, appropriate footwear, togs, towel, and fishing equipment – including your own bait (if wanting to swim or fish). If bringing a fishing rod this will need to be broken down and hooks secured safely.

The café will not be available to students so please do not provide students with any money as they will not be allowed to make any purchases. Students will be able to wear mufti on the day.

Whānau B.B.Q at Titahi Bay Intermediate School

Time: 5.00 pm – 7.00 pm

Bring along some bread/salads/sausages/meat of your own choice to cook and share on the B.B.Q.

Bring along an umbrella, gazebo or sunshade to sit under as well as a rug to sit on.

Also bring along some money so that you can buy an ice cream or two from The Magicman’s Ice Cream Van – locally owned and operated.
