Summer Assignment 2023
REFLECTIONS
You will have a series of reflections to complete prior to the start of school. Each reflection is designed to set you up for success as you begin your year in AP Research.
Reflection One
Look at the graphic to the left. Identify the discipline that is most interesting to you. Do the following:
- Identify 2-3 potential research inquiries within your chosen discipline.
- What variables can be studied within these inquiries? People, animals, concepts, theories, things?
- Why do you think pursuing these research inquiries is meaningful? In other words, what value will your research contribute to the greater research conversation?
You will submit reflection one to the reflection one assignment in Schoology.
REFLECTION TWO
For each of the research inquiries you identified above, locate TWO research studies that support the inquiry. Cite the study in APA in NoodleTools. Annotate each citation including the following information:
- Research Question
- Hypothesis/Thesis
- Variables
