OUTREACH VISITS this week: SERVICE HOURS!
Hi everyone,
We have TWO more Science Demos this semester! We really want to finish out the semester strong and would love some volunteers to help.
On TUESDAY 4/26 from 10:45- 12:00
We have 40 7th graders coming to participate in Jeff's science demos. We really need people the last 15-20 minutes for small group demos. You will be paired with someone if you have no experience or do not want to be by yourself.

On FRIDAY 4/29 from 9:00-10:15
We have 70 3rd graders coming to participate in Jeff's science demos. Jeff is changing up this demo quite a bit, so you do not want to miss this one! We really really need small group demo leaders for this demo. Jeff will be sending you detailed instructions on the demos before Friday.
Please sign up by Wednesday if you want to participate in this demo. It will be a lot of fun. These demos are tied to the curriculum, so it would be great to get some ideas for your classroom.
Also, this demo does not impede your ability to be at the Scholarship Luncheon on time.

Please email me if you have any questions...
Thanks,
Outreach Committee

Special thanks to everyone who helped with STEAM Expo, Tours, and Relay for Life this past Friday!
AVERY HIGH SCHOOL PROM---service hours
They are having a luau theme and will have all the events at the YMCA in Avery County. They need people to judge the dance contest, run inflatables, monitor game rooms. They will have about eight teachers that know the students there along with administration but need help running the event.
Please contact Coleman Bailey at colemanbailey@averyschools.net, if you are interested.
